HOW FUEL FROM ARUBA GOT TO THE TROOPS IN EUROPE

We all knew that fuel for the Allied forces left Aruba in tankers but what happened to it after it arrived in England?  This video on You Tube tells the story of Pluto, the underwater pipeline installed as Normandy was being invaded to supply the troops with fuel.
My first wife, Lee, was from England.  Her father worked in a steel plant in Corby, England and was very proud of the fact that for two years he did nothing but extrude steel pipe that was used in Pluto.  At the time he nor the rest of the workers had any idea what the pipe was to be used for.  After the war one of the men on his extruding crew opened a pub and called it Pluto.  Lee's father took me to the pub and over the bar was a six foot length of the pipe.
